THE Dogs best friend  encourages every dog owner in the United States to support
research into canine cancer and other diseases that take a toll on our companion animals.
Many breed clubs fund research projects into specific diseases and cancers that are
prevalent in their breed.  Because cancer is the number one killer of all dogs, we have
elected to donate $1,000 annually to the Donor Advised Fund at the AKC-Canine Health
Foundation.  We encourage every individual dog owner/breeder/ and dog club to join
with us in funding the important work of the Canine Health Foundation.  No amount is
too small if we all join together. Visit the AKC-CHF website and learn more about their work.
